Mexico IS a different place. It is not the Southwestern US. This is a blog about our lives here in The Lakeside area of Ajijic and Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico since we retired here in September of 2010. It will be about daily/weekly things we experience along with occasional trips.
Hmmm, a little bit of a surprise when the Telmex tech rattled up to do some service work on the telephone land line systems. It's common for resources to be long lived here in Mexico. The phone company does have modern and current vehicles in its fleet, I just thought I'd share this foto (espanol) with you all. This is taken from out terrace looking East toward the main drive to the Vista del Lago complex, just before you get to the guard shack.
