This is my favorite rose, and it is a large one. The picture doen't do jutice to this beauty. The color is a deeper red and together with the texture give the appearance of plush velvet, the way movie theatre drapes from the 1950's and before, were. The fragrance is delicious and sweet...difficult to describe, as anyone who has ever sniffed a fully open rose can attest. I am so grateful for life's simple pleasures, visual, olfactory, and others.
