We just want to wish everyone nob (north of the border) a very nice Feliz Navidad. It is going to be 75 degrees today with some very light clouds.
The village of San Nicolas was celebrating Noche Buena until about 10:30 pm last night...and the rocket/fire crackers started going off this morning about 6:30 am...Carole slept through it...
We Skyped with Carolina"s daughter Clairlyn in Scottsdale yesterday for awhile...actually 2:09:59 but who's counting! It was a wonderful visit. Met her new dog Quincy, a real sweet dog. Skype is just great!
Carolina and I will join the sisters and Fred and Barbara from our Friends group for dinner tonight at Salvador's restaurant for a complete gringo dinner, turkey, ham, rolls, cranberry etc. The sisters are quickly becoming family, Fred is a delightful character and his wife Barbara is his quietish support partner.
Carolina is making waffles this morning! and we can get Log Cabin syrup! Yum.
There is some kind of snafu with uploading pictures to our blog that has become a real annoyance. I tried everything in the help section, that has NOT helped. I've sent an email to the help desk but have not received a reply...if i don't get this resolved this week i will be looking for another blog site. Nonetheless...
