Our good friend Sandy had her second PET scan today. She got the results about 7 pm. The cancer tumor on her liver is totally gone! She is in remission after 3 rounds of chemo. Life doesn't get much better than that, unless you're bringing a new one into the world (shhh, Carla in March).
I don't really have anything else to say. Some people die from cancer, some don't...some bad, some good. Sandy is one of the good ones. We will toast to her good life, retired nurse and good friend, tomorrow at lunch with a handful of close friends. Salud!
