Feliz Navidad

Merry Christmas to family and friends. We hope this holiday season finds you all warm, cozy,  healthy and surrounded by loved ones.

There are two birthday girls here, Carole as you know, and our very good friend Sandy whose birthday

is on the 23rd. We are celebrating their birthdays Christmas day at Salvador´s restaurant where they serve a traditional Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner, with good friends. Sandy is thin and has lost some weight due to her chemo treatments, but her spirits are good and she looks "in the pink".

We don´t exchange gifts, we have enough stuff, and enjoying each other´s company is pleasure enough.  Things change. One of our friends lost her husband, a couple have returned to Oregon because of  the wife´s onset of serious health conditions. A couple we don´t know, are returning to the Lakeside because he has severe cancer and Medicare told him his condition was inoperable, and they could ONLY offer him three courses of chemo, then he was on his own. Sandy is of course doing very well with her chemo treatments. Good people are our most valuable gifts, and we all know that, and I know that you all know this too.

Miss you, love you all
