Mexico IS a different place. It is not the Southwestern US. This is a blog about our lives here in The Lakeside area of Ajijic and Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico since we retired here in September of 2010. It will be about daily/weekly things we experience along with occasional trips.
This beautiful white flower bloomed in our "pot" garden on the roof. This is from one of the bulbs that originally came from Amsterdam about 100 years ago...by way of Australia, Canada and California. Amazing! The blooms don't last very long unfortunately ;( We have some red ones that should be fully open tomorrow and I'll post a picture of it. Life's simple pleasures, I am grateful.
